Presence Intensive – Terms & Conditions
By booking a Presence Intensive with Nicola Milan Studio, you agree to the following terms.
Payment
Payment in full is required at the time of booking and before the session takes place. Your booking is confirmed once payment has been received.
All prices are in Australian dollars (AUD) and include any applicable taxes.
Session format and location
Sessions are available online via Google Meet.
In-person sessions may be available within the Perth metropolitan upon request but not guaranteed. In-person sessions are normally held at the client’s workplace or office.
Two-Session Intensive
For the two-session option, the booking form confirms your first 90-minute session.
Your second session will be scheduled by email shortly after confirming your first booking. The timing of the second session will be agreed between Nicola Milan and the client based on the client’s event date and availability.
The two sessions must be used by the same client and cannot be transferred to another person.
Cancellation and Rescheduling
Cancellations or requests to reschedule must be made at least 48 hours before the scheduled session.
Where at least 48 hours’ notice is provided, the session may be rescheduled to another mutually suitable time, subject to availability.
Sessions cancelled or rescheduled with less than 48 hours’ notice, or missed without notice, are non-refundable.
If Nicola Milan Studio needs to cancel or reschedule a session, the client will be offered an alternative time or a full refund for the affected session.
Late Arrival
Sessions begin at the scheduled time. If the client arrives late, the session will normally still finish at the originally scheduled time and the unused portion of the session will not be refunded.
Preparation
Clients are encouraged to provide relevant presentation materials, slides, scripts, speaking notes or other material in advance where applicable. This allows the session to be tailored to the client’s specific presentation and objectives.
The client is responsible for ensuring that any materials supplied to Nicola Milan Studio can be lawfully shared for the purpose of the session.
Nature of the Service
The Presence Intensive provides professional coaching, feedback and practical recommendations relating to presentation delivery, communication, vocal performance, presence and audience perception.
The service is educational and advisory in nature. Nicola Milan Studio does not guarantee any particular professional, commercial, career, speaking or audience outcome from the session.
The effectiveness of the session depends in part on the client’s preparation, participation and implementation of the recommendations provided.
Confidentiality
Information and materials shared by the client for the purpose of the session will be treated as confidential and will not knowingly be disclosed to third parties, except where disclosure is required by law or reasonably necessary to provide the agreed service.
Intellectual Property
Any presentation materials, scripts, documents, trademarks or other intellectual property supplied by the client remain the property of the client or their respective owner.
Any original frameworks, methods, exercises, written recommendations or other materials created by Nicola Milan Studio remain the intellectual property of Nicola Milan Studio unless otherwise agreed in writing.
Recording
Sessions will not be recorded by Nicola Milan Studio unless agreed with the client in advance.
Clients may not record, reproduce or distribute session content or materials supplied by Nicola Milan Studio without prior permission.
Consumer Rights
Nothing in these terms is intended to exclude, restrict or modify any rights or remedies that cannot lawfully be excluded, restricted or modified under applicable Australian consumer law.
Acceptance
By completing payment and booking an Presence Intensive, you acknowledge that you have read and agree to these Terms & Conditions.
